What is on HR’s Mind?

It’s almost 2013, and the first trend papers have been published. 2012 was a busy year for HR, with many developments in the HRTech space.

It all started early this year with SAP’s acquisition of Successfactors. Then Oracle bought Taleo and IBM Kenexa. So for the first time in many years HR was labeled as “hot and happening” instead of stuffy and boring.

The HR Trends overviews for 2013 that have appeared so far focus on mobile, social, analytics and cloud. But most HR professionals that I talk to have other, more practical, things on their mind: mobility, lay-offs, restructuring, in short, dealing with the workforce effects of the economic crisis. I have the feeling that there is a disconnect between where the analysts would like us to move and the daily concerns that we have.

That’s why I decided to give the floor to you: please use the form below to tell me what is foremost on your mind these days: what is your HR department working on? And is that an operational, tactical or structural issue? To make it as objective as possible, I ask this as an open question, without pre-defined options. After all, I am interested in your answer, not in what I think it should be.

[SURVEYS 1]

You can answer the question until December 16th, after which date I will compile the answers in a blog post.
